This summer, I had to pick up a birthday cake from a pastry store. The cake had already been paid for, but I still needed to buy candles. They were inexpensive, but I had no cash with me, only a credit card. The shop assistant asked to pay for the candles but when she understood she had to deal with payment by card, she made a hand gesture typical for Cyprus to let me know she was giving the candles away for free. And such 'moments of pleasure' are often not just about little things.
